Sarah has a BSc (Hons) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and is currently studying for an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) -the scientific study of human flourishing, with modules including Applied Psychology for Coaches, Positive Development, Positive Relationships and Positive Education. She also holds a wide range of diplomas and certification in well-being areas such as existential well-being counselling, couples counselling, counselling for children and adolescents, CBT coaching, life coaching, ACT coaching, happiness life coaching, resilience coaching, group life coaching and positive psychology.

 

Sarah has a background in education, working as a teacher and a university manager. Her passion for supporting and nurturing well-being in others was ignited when she was frequently called upon to offer support, advice and counselling to students.

 

She is also a published author: one of her books, Perfectly Different, published by Penguin Random House, encourages children to celebrate individuality and embrace diversity.

 

Sarah is British and has lived and worked in London, Fiji, New Zealand and Qatar, as well as travelling extensively around the world. She is a mother to six children aged 13-22 and is instinctively nurturing, pragmatic, patient, supportive, empathetic and deeply passionate about helping others to overcome their obstacles to well-being, celebrate their strengths, develop healthy, positive mindsets and thrive!

George

George has a BA (Hons) and a Masters degree in Professional Education and Training (MPET). He is an experienced educator and public speaker who has worked in the fields of education, training and international development for various United Nations, inter-governmental and international organisations for over 20 years. In doing so, he has trained a diverse range of audiences from the government, corporate and social sectors in over 20 countries in the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific.

 

Having worked around the world in many multi-lingual and multi-faith environments, George has honed his cross-cultural communication skills and ability to cultivate positive, collaborative and mutually beneficial working relationships with people from all walks of life. 

 

During his global career, George has enjoyed the privilege of travelling widely and being exposed to many nationalities, cultures and communities. Throughout, he has had an enduring interest in how different people share a common humanity and universally seek happiness, even if their lived experiences vary significantly. Consequently, he has studied the science of happiness, with a particular interest in how it’s applied in the workplace.

 

George now combines his extensive professional educational experience and unique insights to offer dynamic Thrive Senses corporate training workshops to companies who understand the value of having a happy, engaged and resilient workforce.
